My journey with yoga began more than 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child.
Practicing prenatal yoga helped me to deeply connect with myself and the incredible being who was growing inside of me. It made me feel calm, peaceful and graceful.
After two pregnancies and adapting to the busy life of a stay at home mom of two young children, my yoga practice helped me to achieve a healthy weight and become strong.
It helped to keep my mind clear and calm…which was a constant challenge while raising two children!
When my youngest went to school five years ago, my yoga practice became something else entirely.
I began to learn about the science of yoga; the sutras, chakras, Ayurveda, pranayama (breath work) and every style of yoga that was accessible to me.
I realized that yoga was so much more than a series of physical postures, yoga was a way of life beyond the mat.
When I shifted from practicing yoga on my mat to practicing yoga as a way of life, every aspect of my life changed in profound ways.
Yoga is accessible to anyone who is open to the infinite benefits of this science of joy.
