Flow, Restore & Yoga Nidra
Join me for an uplifting 2 hour yoga practice that will leave you feeling refreshed, restored and reset. Beginning with a gentle, mandala flow to realign your breath, energize your body and increase mental focus. Moving into a restorative practice, allowing your body to actively relax, centering breath and body, calming the mind, aiding proper digestion and reducing stress. Concluding with Yoga Nidra (resting meditation) an opportunity to deeply connect with yourself, explore what you need in the moment and release long-held emotions.
Chakra Bhedana Meditation Experience
Yoga is a process of self discovery, not only in the physical sense of coming into and feeling our bodies but in the sense of discovering our self. Anahata Chakra, our heart center, is the integrator and energetic center of the Chakra system. Working with Anahata is an invitation to heal and come back to wholeness. Chakra Bhedana is an opportunity to embody the Chakras to ascend from our base to our heart. This class will include Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath work), Chakra Bhedana and Savasana. Students will be introduced to Bija Mantras (chakra seed sounds), Yantra (visualization of archetypal shapes) and Mudras (hand gestures to seal energy).
Fine-Tuning Your Practice
In our yoga classes we don’t always have the time to breakdown each pose, ask questions or experiment with variations of poses that we’ve always wanted to try. In this 2 Hour Workshop we will explore postures one at a time, offering general alignment as well as cues specific to each students body – finding your unique expression of each pose based on your own direct experience. Students will leave with detailed descriptions of each planned posture.
